Photographic Projects

As a professional photographer I’m often out of doors, in a back alley, on a stage with performers or in some one’s personal space. I meet a lot of ordinary people with fascinating stories and histories but you also meet the famous movers and shakers and to tell the truth you get to do and see things others generally wouldn’t be able to as a member of the public. Camera works gives me an incredibly broad first-hand experience of our nation, our humanity and the extraordinary planet that we call home. My camera passion adds untold depth, dimension and texture to my years!

I’ve photographed extraordinary weddings, musicians from Diana Ross, Smokey Robinson, Katy Perry, Brian McKnight, DJ Battlecat, DJ Quick right on through to Kenny Lattimore. I’ve brushed shoulders with Christina Aguilera, met and photographed Paul Simon’s and Renee Fleming’s band members. I’ve chatted with and photographed Christian Slater and Hope Dworaczyk! I’ve Danced with Diana Ross and photographed internationally renowned chefs like Roy Yamaguchi (Roy’s) and Wolfgang Puck. How many people could have done that in a lifetime, for heaven’s sake?

Many of the shoots that I do are cool, but some just really hit the sweet spot. For several years I have been piecing together a photographic essay called “The Other California – Mexico’s Baja.” This photographic project is very dear to my heart… orphans, fishermen, the ordinary and overlooked, land and seascapes, varied wildlife and road signs along the way are incorporated.  Another photo odyssey of mine is a study called “Under The Moon – A Contrast of Landscapes And The Heavens.”Finally, as the other projects approach completion two new projects are born: “California Dreaming” – A Collection of Free Shots and “Amid The Thorns” -A Pictorial Anthology of Our Ancestors. It doesn’t get better than this!

Select prints from the aforementioned projects will be signed, numbered and offered as Silver Gelatin and Giclee prints on fine art paper such as Hahnemuhle and acid free papers and backed by a life time guarantee. Other will be offered as traditional photographic prints as Monochromatic, Sepia-chrome and Lithograph and like wise backed by a lifetime guarantee.

I want to go on to do bigger and better projects. I refuse to believe that my high point has already been achieved. Boundless possibilities beckon me to dream big, dig deep, nail it down and make my personal dreams reality! When people view my work I want them to get lost in the splendor of creation, I want them to be over-awed by the depth of human spirit and soul in print. I often see my work in my dreams and begin think as carefully as I to make them a tangible reality.
