About Our Image Review Sessions

“It’s not simply enough to be the best at what we do, we strive to be only ones doing what we do.”

Our photographic tenure has taught us that the majority of clients are simply overwhelmed by the sheer number of images taking during a typical photo shoot. What is more, when client’s proofs are simply presented on a low-res to med-res CD or posted as online proofs very few will actually take the time to make selections. So the House of Lord Byron considered something novel and quite unprecedented in the world of portrait photography. We drafted what is called the Image Review Session because we believe that selecting and utilizing the printed images is every bit as important as the consultation and the photo shoot themselves.

After the shoot

After the shoot we will schedule an Image Review Session. In the interim, Lord Byron Photography will sort your images into Best, Average and Not-A-Chance groups. On the scheduled date we will present all of these images to you in a relaxed but professional setting. This is the two-hour Image Review Session where you’ll enjoy a personal slide show of your photos with an emphasis on your strongest ones. LB Photography simplifies the selection process so that it is far easier for the really fun aspects of your project to begin.

Our clients love creating personalized art

Since the debut of our Image Review Session our clients have expressed enormous gratitude and satisfaction. Our clients love the idea of having a professional helping them select their top poses but what blows them away is to have the occasion to participate in the cropping, moving shots around, trying different layouts and discuss mounting and framing with skilled professionals.

During this two-hour, stress-free session together we’ll consider a variety of different albums and coffee table book layouts, image cropping styles and we’ll also look at the differences between black and white, sepia, color and some proprietary color treatments for your portraiture. Even if we are not your photographers and you’re just simply overwhelmed by the idea of sorting, touching up, printing and or even creating a photo – book of your images chances are we can help!

We are proud to announce that to this day, we’re still crafting distinctive objects-of-arte during our highly acclaimed Image Review Session. Finally, our patrons love leaving the final tasks to the House of Lord Byron, knowing that a gorgeous, finished product will soon arrive in the mail ready to hang or be placed on their coffee table.

Selecting your artwork

As this session last between two and two and a half hours you’ll have plenty of time to browse through all the different display options as well as to gauge which wall portraits are best for you. If you’re unable to choose your artwork during this Review Session, you will incur a $500 repeat session fee.

This innovative and collaborative session has revitalized the antique roots of fine portraiture and redefines the art of photography and painted portraiture. Lord Byron Photography cordially invites you to partake in the pleasure of creating something rare and exceptional.

If you have a good artistic sense and you choose not to do an Image Review Session, you’ll receive your proofs or contact sheets and order forms in the mail about two weeks after your shoot. If at any time you would like help creating your layouts, you have the option of scheduling our exclusive Image Review Session.

If the Review Session is not included in your package you will receive your low-resolution, proof CD in the mail approximately two week after your photo session. If you choose to have an Image Review Session the fee is $500. If however, you should you purchase $500 or more worth of artwork (prints, albums or books) during the Image Review Session the review session is free. If purchases don’t exceed $500, LB will bill you the difference between $500 and what you do purchase.
