About Our Costs
The cost of doing business
Some have wondered why our photo sessions, image review sessions and professional prints seem to be costly. Our response is straightforward it comes down to both soft and hard costs.The soft costs are the intangibles and they are the most complex. They include the decades that it has taken Lord Byron to create his astute know-how and professionalism. Soft costs also embrace the deep – seated charisma or aura of our founder that makes it incredibly trouble-free for his clients to invite him and his team back time & time again into their very personal spaces and lives to create enduring images.
His confident, yet unruffled, persona and artistic workmanship liberates people to be photographed assertively in the full range of artistic photography. It takes noteworthy expertise to bring all of these pieces together and our brand, Lord Byron Photography, has done just that.
The hard costs are easier to appreciate but they include the cost of the space, the professional lighting equipment, light modifiers, the cost of backdrops, the specialized cameras and lenses, the Mac computers, the adobe software and all the peripherals required to create and redundantly store digital images safely. Not a one of these tangibles comes cheap and regrettably none of them last very long so the replacement costs are part of our on – going expenses.
We have built our pricing based on a number of factors and measurements and deem them sustainable, competitive and profitable. As a consequence we therefore, consider our prices achievable, fair and worth every penny!
The Investment
Lord Byron’s session fees are variable but range from $75.00 up to $6,800.00 This fee is all inclusive including both the photo session and the indicated $’s toward specified products. Photo session bookings require a non-refundable deposit of $100, and the remainder of the session fee is payable two days prior to the session.
Our Clients typically spend anywhere from $500 – $7,000 on the art pieces for their collection.
Lord Byron’s clients tend to become clients for life. Byron Cobb DBA Lord Byron works closely with each client to develop their personal way of telling the visual story of their family, from a photo wall, to using the entire house as a gallery to display their photographs.

Gift certificates are available and make a wonderfully cherished gift. Denominations start at $1000 which covers all or a the photo session.
Payment Methods and Details
Online PayPal, Cash and Cashiers Checks are all accepted. Personal checks may be used as a form of payment only if submitted two weeks prior to session.
A deposit of $100 is required at the time of booking in order to confirm the session. When your photo order is placed, a deposit of 50% is required, with the balance to be paid upon completion.
